The Willie Nelson strain won the 2005 High Times Cannabis Cup for Best Sativa. Reeferman Genetics has made this award winning cup cut strain available in seed form.  This strain is around 70% sativa and 30% indica with THC levels over 20% and little detectable CBD levels. The result is a soaring, uplifting and euphoric clear headed buzz that is ideal for creativity and socializing through the day and into the night.

Willie Nelson is earthy with hints of tangy sweetness and a real crowd pleaser; perhaps like the man himself!

This strain was expertly bred with exotic landrace genetics, following careful selection, to create a very unique specimen.

Plants can get big fast and offer potential for serious yields.  It’s a hardy grower and will tolerate a variety of conditions and stresses with relative ease; having the best genetics from both parents in the lineage.  However, for outdoor growers, a long season is required ,as plants may not be fully mature until November at Northern Latitudes.

Buds are fairly solid and compact for a Sativa dominant strain with healthy spacing between flowering sites to help strong light and fresh air reach all parts of the crop canopy. Staking or trellising may be required for support as buds can get large and weighty towards maturity

The Willie Nelson strain thrives in greenhouse conditions or indoors when given plenty of space to fill out up top and at the roots. With favourable environmental conditions, the Willie Nelson strain can be a heavy feeder reaching epic proportions quickly.  However, we recommend only light feedings or straight water for the final days as harvest approaches to help preserve the wonderful, exotic and unique aroma & flavour.
